OCF POLICIES

The Ohio Christmas Factory is a family destination, and the safety and well-being of every guest is our highest priority.

Please become familiar with our policies prior to your visit.

You must be 21 years of age (valid state-issued driver’s license with photo or state-issued identification card with photo required by state law) to purchase, possess or consume alcoholic beverages at the Ohio Christmas Factory.

The Ohio Revised Code (Ohio code number 4301.62) prohibits bringing beer, wine or intoxicating liquor on property.

OCF offers a First Aid station, located in the center of the event in our Bourbon Street section.

  • Coolers are not permitted at OCF.  Exceptions may be made for medical purposes.
  • Bags are permitted, but any bags left unattended may be confiscated.   Bags may also be left at Coat Check if guests do not want to carry them. 
  • Outside food and drink are not permitted inside OCF, with the exception of small snacks for children and/or for medical needs.
  • Guests may visit their vehicles and re-enter the building on the same day after receiving a handstamp upon exiting.

Disrespectful behavior, such as vulgarity, loitering, intoxication, line jumping, theft, and all other actions that negatively impact our guests and staff will not be tolerated, and may result in ejection from the event without a refund.

The Ohio Christmas Factory reserves the right to deny admission if the bearer violates event safety and security rules or if the bearer has been convicted of any crime of a type that could pose a threat to the safety of our guests, including without limitation, any sex crime, or if the bearer is required to be registered as a sex offender (or words of similar import) in any jurisdiction.

The Ohio Christmas Factory reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone who refuses to comply with the dress code summarized above.

  • Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times.
  • Offensive or provocative items on clothing is prohibited.
  • Costumes or disguises that conceal identity are not permitted.

 

If guests have any questions, please visit one of our three (3) Guest Relations locations.

Small snacks, baby formula, and special diet items for medical purposes are permitted inside the event as long as they comply with the Cooler policy listed above. Other outside food and beverages are not permitted within the Ohio Christmas Factory and must be kept in a guests’ vehicle or be held in our Coat Check.

You are welcome to take photos and/or video for personal use only. When taking photos/videos, guests are not permitted to cross barriers or use devices, such as monopods or tripods, to do so.

Commercial photography requires written permission from OCF management or ownership. 

On occasion, we will photograph or take video of OCF visitors for educational or promotional purposes. Entry to the Ohio Christmas Factory grants permission for use of these images. 

Dogs or other animals of any kind are prohibited on OCF grounds with the exception of service dogs.

Please be mindful of the danger of leaving pets in your vehicle while visiting our event.

Guests wishing to leave the event to visit their vehicles and re-enter the building need to have their hand stamped at either the check-in station or our exit gift shop.

Just like sporting events & others, we do not offer refunds unless you have purchased the ticket insurance while buying your tickets online.  Email us at info@ohiochristmasfactory.com with your name and order number in order to process your refund.

The following items are not permitted into the Ohio Christmas Factory:

  • Firearms
  • Knives
  • Food or beverage not permitted in the Food & Beverage policy listed above.

The Ohio Christmas Factory is a smoke-free facility in all indoor spaces, including the use of:

  • Cigarettes, cigars, and pipes
  • Vapes
  • E-cigarettes
  • Marijuana (in any form)

 

Guests may smoke cigarettes, cigars, pipes, vapes, or E-cigarettes anywhere outdoors at the Ohio Christmas Factory, as long as they stand at least 10 feet away from the entrances/exits.

Consumption of marijuana (in any form) is prohibited on all OCF grounds.

Smoking inside the OCF building may result in ejection from the event without a refund. 

At the Ohio Christmas Factory, we do not allow outside solicitation as we are a privately owned & operated business.

Our policy to prohibit petitioning and/or the distribution of literature outside our sanctioned events/activities is supported by our objective to maintain a welcoming family atmosphere for all of our visitors, and to give them the opportunity to enjoy OCF without being solicited.

  • Tickets are valid only on date(s) indicated on the front.
  • Tickets are a revocable license and may be confiscated without refund of purchase price.
  • Violation of event rules will result in expulsion without refund.
  • Only tickets obtained from the Ohio Christmas Factory or parties authorized by the Ohio Christmas Factory to sell/distribute tickets will be honored.
  • Tickets that are distributed/ resold without the Ohio Christmas Factory’s authorization will be confiscated without refund or exchange.
  • Resale of tickets is strictly prohibited.

 

If lost or stolen, please email info@OhioChristmasFactory.com and we will re-issue you new tickets once we verify your purchase.

The Ohio Christmas Factory is a no weapon facility. No firearms, knives, or other weapons are permitted.
